Rooms are down 9 stairs. Well lit. Shared bathroom/shower down the hall. Small downstairs kitchenette with sink and kettle but no cooking appliances. We can provide ice coolers for downstairs, if helpful. Upstairs in family space you can share: fridge, air fryer/toaster, stove/oven, and BBQ. WiFi available.
Quiet neighbours. We live at the end of a long laneway with limited parking. You would need to park one block away. Nearby bus stops, sushi restaurant. House is beside a beautiful creek with many trees and Nature's creatures. We are two blocks from spectacular views and walks at Cleveland Dam Park. 10 minutes from Grouse Mountain.
Our outdoor decks and backyard available if good weather. Beautiful creek sounds for sleeping at night.

Wife (counsellor, soprano) and husband (engineer, non-singer) are looking forward to welcoming kind, friendly, respectful guests. We love art, music (guitar, ukulele and piano), movies, trivia games, chatting, and quietly reading.
No outdoor noise after10pm (to respect neighbours). Quiet times inside after midnight. We prefer no arrivals or departures from house between 2am-7am just so everyong can sleep well. We prefer everyone eats at dining table and not in rooms (to discourage ants, etc.)
Important health alert. No fragrances, smoking, or vaping, or strong smells. We use only natural cleaners and avoid harsh chemicals to accommodate family's environmental allergies.
If possible, we would appreciate guests donating to help pay for a house cleaner after guests leave. Also, if you can, bring your own sheets and towels. We can provide linens, if needed, just let us know.
Also, we have two cats who are indoors only so guests will have to be extra vigilant about not leaving outside doors open (coyotes like cats!).
