WORK OPPORTUNITY –
GENERAL MANAGER, UNISON FESTIVAL VANCOUVER 2026
The Planning Committee is looking for a Festival General Manager who will have a lead role in organizing, programming, and arranging events and operations for the Unison Festival 2026, to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia from May 15 to 18, 2026 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The work requirement is estimated at approximately 400 hours, from June 2025 to June 2026, primarily part-time but ramping up as the Festival nears. Full-time work will be required during the festival itself.
The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. The General Manager will report to the Festival Co-Chairs and work in collaboration with the Festival Artistic Directors, the Unison Administrators, and volunteer committees. We are seeking an individual with event management experience, ideally with not-for-profit artistic organizations such as choirs or music programs. Local residency is preferred.
