Delegate Accommodations
We’ve arranged special hotel rates for Unison delegates at several convenient locations within easy reach of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre – the main venue for festival events – in addition to residence rooms at UBC.
If you plan to share a room with another person, usually only one person needs to make the booking. It’s a good idea to connect with your roommate early, decide on the room type you’ll need, and confirm how you’ll handle payment.
We encourage you to shop around and compare the available options – rates and amenities can vary. Hotel rooms will remain available to Unison delegates only as long as space allows, so it’s best to book early to secure your preferred location.

Other Accommodations
Delegates are welcome to book accommodations wherever they like – you’re not required to use the festival’s negotiated hotel rates. You may even find lower prices by booking directly through travel sites such as Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia, Airbnb, or VRBO.
If you plan to arrange your own lodging, we recommend booking early – the sooner you reserve, the better your chances of finding a good rate and the style of place that suits you best. You can also check loyalty programs such as Aeroplan or major hotel chains for special offers.
Unison Choruses Canada is developing a billeting program that will connect visiting delegates with local hosts in Vancouver who are opening their homes during the festival. The program is expected to launch in early 2026, and more details will be shared as plans are finalized.
