Billeting

Billeting is a community-based accommodation option for Unison Festival 2026 that connects visiting delegates with local hosts in Vancouver and surrounding areas. Hosts share space in their homes to help make festival participation possible and to welcome singers from across Canada.

Unison Choruses Canada provides the platform to share listings and help people connect. Hosts and guests then communicate directly to decide whether an arrangement feels like a good fit. Participation is optional, availability depends on local hosts, and the number of spaces is limited.

Before taking part, all hosts and guests must read and agree to the Important Billeting Information & Use Agreement, which explains the process.

How billeting works:

  • Local hosts post billeting listings describing the space they can offer

  • Registered delegates apply to one or more listings they are interested in

  • Hosts choose who they would like to welcome into their home

  • Hosts and guests connect directly to confirm details and arrangements

Hosts

Open your home to a visiting delegate and help make their trip to Unison Festival 2026 possible. Hosting is a generous way to support the community and share the welcoming spirit of Vancouver.

As a host, you remain in control of who you welcome and what you offer. Your listing is shared on the Unison website, and interested delegates apply directly to you. (See the Billeting FAQ for Hosts.)

As a host, you can:

  • Submit a listing describing your space and availability

  • Receive applications from interested delegates

  • Choose who you would like to host

  • Contact guests directly to confirm details

➤ Submit your listing now, for posting starting on February 19.

Guests

Billeting offers registered delegates a free accommodation option while attending the festival. Guests stay in private homes offered by local hosts and are expected to be respectful, flexible, and appreciative.

Billeting is not a hotel or rental service. Availability is limited, and arrangements are made directly between you and your host. (See the Billeting FAQ for Guests.)

As a guest, you can:

  • Browse available billeting listings

  • Apply to listings that interest you

  • Share information about yourself and your visit

  • Connect directly with a host if selected

📌 View initial listings and apply starting February 19.
